The Small, Jr sized carriers have a built-in handle on the top while the Intermediate, Large and Xlarge carriers do not.

Small Size: Great for small dogs, pets, Cats and Kittens. Pets up to 12" tall - Top Carry Handle. Jr Size: Perfect for small dogs up to 14" Tall and 20lbs - Top Carry Handle. Intermediate Size: Ideal for dogs up to 22" Tall and 45lbs including Beagles, Spaniels, Terriers, Dalmatians, Bulldogs, Dachshunds, Schnauzers and like-sized dogs Large Size: Best for dogs up to 28" Tall and 65lbs including English Setters, Brittany Spaniels, Springer Spaniels, Basset Hounds and like sized dogs. XLarge Size: Ideal for dogs up to 30" Tall and 90lbs including Labradors, Irish Setters, Golden Retrievers, Boxers and like-sized dogs.

Small, JR and Intermediate white carriers have a burgundy bottom. Large and Xlarge white carriers are all white.
